Red Cow | Brent Knoll – TA9 4BE
A 10 minute drive away. A lot of my guests enjoy the atmosphere at this family run pub. Good pub food (steak, scampi, lamb cutlets etc), reasonably priced, homemade puddings, local beer (Butcombe), child friendly, helpful staff. It is advisable to book particularly if there are children in the party.
20 minute drive in the village of Mark. Regular fish specials (£16 to £20, fish is delivered Tue to Sat from Devon), also does reasonably priced Sunday lunches and the Greek owner occasionally adds some Greek specialities to the Menu.
